Our Premier Cleaning
Process We use Hot Water Extraction for
our cleaning. Other methods may be acceptable but Hot Water
extraction is the method recommended by most carpet
manufacturers.
1)
Detailed Walk Through
Inspection – A well trained and certified technician will
arrive at your home on time and walk through your house with
you to understand what you’d like to have done, and provide a
detailed quote and explanation of our process and what to
expect.
2)
Rake Traffic Areas –
A special carpet “rake” is used to loosen the soil and lift
the carpet fibers for better cleaning.
3)
Vacuum – Even if you
have just vacuumed your carpets, we vacuum the area to be
cleaned again to ensure maximum soil removal, before our
chemicals and any water touches the carpet.
4)
Move Furniture – We
move couches, chairs, tables, small cribs and beds, and other
basic objects. We carefully move them and replace them to
their original position when we’re done. Protective tabs are
placed under the legs and touch points to prevent bleeding
from the furniture to the carpet, and to protect the furniture
as well. Large items such as entertainment centers, large
beds, china hutches, etc… are not moved by our
technicians.
5)
Home Protection
Procedures – We take steps and use equipment designed to
protect your walls and carpet while we are working. We treat
your home as if it were our own, carefully and with
respect.
6)
Pre Spray Detergent –
The chemicals we use are matched to the type of carpet fibers
you have and applied in a deliberate and even manner.
7)
Pre Spray Grooming –
A carpet rake is used to work the detergent into all faces of
the carpet fibers.
8)
Hot Water Extraction and
Rinse – Our trucks are filled with treated/softened water
which we use to rinse and clean your carpets. Softened water
is necessary for optimal cleaning, and doesn’t leave your
carpets with hard minerals which create a stiff feel to your
carpet fibers. Our truck-mounted equipment is of the highest
quality and power to provide the best cleaning. Water at 190
?F is sprayed into your carpet fibers, and flushes
the fibers from all remaining soil. It is mixed with a
neutralizing rinse which brings balance to the pH level of
your carpets and provides the final cleaning blow. The water
is then immediately sucked back through our hoses into our
trucks.
9)
Drying Procedures –
Dry times are drastically reduced by the use of air movers
throughout your home.
10) Post Grooming – Your
carpet is raked again to set the pile upright and fresh,
providing an aesthetically pleasing look and also helping to
reduce dry time.
11) Post Inspection –
Walk through your home to ensure the work has been
performed to your satisfaction. If you’re not happy, then
we’re not happy. Dry time is less than 6 hours and usually
less than 4 hours. Its best not to walk on it until it is dry,
but if you just have to, remove your shoes to prevent tracking
soil in on the wet carpet. |
